Female-run music label Future Ethics’ latest zine opens with a “mission statement” that reads more like a manifesto about the future of dance music. This project confirms that, even after many decades, zines continue to be an effective way to establish community: the print edition acts as a supplement to digital releases and includes a tracklist, background on the label, and other helpful tips, like opiate and overdose information.
